The Comfort Experience was founded by Deborah Yeboah on a single conviction: the host of a beautiful event should never be the most anxious person at it.
Our StoryIt started with a feeling that something was backwards.
Deborah came to events the long way around, through planning her own family’s celebrations. The same quiet thing kept happening in every room she stood in: the people who had paid for the celebration were the only ones not able to enjoy it. Too busy watching the door, the clock, the catering, the seating.
So she built the company she had wanted to hire. One that treats logistics as a craft rather than a chore, treats a guest list as a responsibility, and treats the host’s peace of mind as the actual thing being sold. The work has grown. The conviction has not changed. An event should feel effortless precisely because someone, somewhere just out of frame, is handling the effort.
Anyone can fill a room. The art is making sure the person who built it gets to stand still inside it.
Discretion
The best work is the kind no guest ever notices. Our name belongs on the invoice, not the evening. What happens in your home, or at your table, stays there.
Rigour
Beautiful is the easy part. We are quietly obsessive about the timeline, the budget, and the dozen things that have to go right before anyone sees a single flower.
Restraint
We will talk you out of the trend, the upsell, and the one idea too many. Taste, in the end, is mostly a matter of what you choose to leave out.
Presence
On the day we are everywhere and invisible at once, holding the whole machine together so that you can be fully, finally, a guest.

That is the whole point. My job is to absorb every decision, every supplier, and every small emergency so completely that, when you look back at the photographs, all you remember is the people and the feeling.
I take on a small number of events each season, on purpose. It is the only way I know to give each one the attention it deserves.
